Shared shuttles from Seattle airport

Premier’s door-to-door vans and the Bellevue shuttle board on garage Level 3. Every other operator on our scheduled airporters page that names a spot boards at the curb of the Arrivals Drive, on the baggage claim level, outside Doors 00 and 02 past Carousel 1.
The upstairs route costs you a floor up, a skybridge and a floor down.

- Airporter Shuttle / Bellair: 10 trips a day, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Our Bellingham guide has the times.
- Whidbey - SeaTac Shuttle: nine trips a day, about every two hours. An adult pays $64 to Oak Harbor. See our Whidbey Island guide.

How to reach the curb airporters
Walk to the south end of the baggage claim level and look for the Airporters sign next to Checkpoint 1. No skybridge is involved.
The Port of Seattle’s airporters page says pickup is near Door 00, while several operators say Door 02. Both doors face the same curb, so look for the sign instead of the number. Inside, near Door 00 in the Gina Marie Lindsey Arrivals Hall, the Airporter Check-In Counter is where you check in with your service.
Whidbey - SeaTac Shuttle lists nine trips a day, roughly every two hours.
Reaching the garage plaza for a door-to-door van
Follow the signs for Ground Transportation. Sound Transit’s own walking video puts the skybridge level one floor above baggage claim. Cross Skybridge 4 into the garage, then go down to Level 3, where Premier’s kiosk sits in the middle of the Ground Transportation Plaza.
The Ground Transportation Information Booth can be reached at (206) 787-5906.
One traveler watching Travel Adventures with Eric B’s walk-through reported “a lot of walking,” and another mentioned their knee. If you need a wheelchair from baggage claim or the garage before security, call Prospect Airport Services at (206) 246-1550. The help is free. Our wheelchair assistance page explains the handoff at the ticket counter. Taxis have a mobility pickup on the baggage claim level, by Skybridge 2 near Door 10 or Skybridge 5 near Door 22.
Shared or private: what Premier sells
Premier sells a shared ride, its most economical option, and a private van that is non-stop and direct.
Premier’s fare varies with distance, number of passengers and service, and gratuity is not included in most fares. SeaTac to Everett, for example, runs about $94.60 in a shared van or $199.00 in a private one, subject to availability.
Premier also lists seasonal scheduled cruise ship and downtown Seattle transfers. Call (800) 962-3579 for reservations.
When a shuttle isn’t the best fit
For downtown, the Link light rail leaves from SeaTac/Airport Station. Sound Transit gives 38 minutes for the ride from downtown Seattle to the airport. Trains toward downtown stop leaving the airport at these times.
| Night | Last train toward downtown |
|---|---|
| Weekday | 12:05 a.m. |
| Saturday | 12:06 a.m. |
| Sunday | 11:18 p.m. |
Sound Transit’s Night Bus then runs about every 30 minutes, starting about 15 minutes after the last train, from near the Link station on International Boulevard.
| Option | Published fare or traveler’s report | Where it boards |
|---|---|---|
| Link light rail | $3.00 adult, youth 18 and under free (Sound Transit) | SeaTac/Airport Station, across the skybridge |
| Taxi | $20 minimum fare from SEA (Port of Seattle). One traveler (Travel Adventures with Eric B) reported $40 to $50 to downtown | Garage Level 3, north and south curbs |
| Rideshare | One traveler (Travel Adventures with Eric B) said the app was showing an average of $65 to downtown | Garage Level 3 Ground Transportation Plaza, stalls 1–34 in the middle of the garage |
| Premier shared van | Varies by distance, passengers and service (Premier) | Garage Level 3 |
The train fits an address near a downtown stop, where it costs a fraction of the $20 taxi minimum. A shuttle or taxi fits an address far from a station, including after the last train, because the Night Bus stops only near the Link station. Sound Transit Express Route 560 also runs to Bellevue from the lower drive near Door 00.
For a cruise, one creator, Travels Large, rode Link to Westlake and paid about $22 for a ride app to Pier 91.
What goes wrong, and what to do
Your flight is late. Premier monitors flights and can adjust a reservation. Call its office at (206) 244-0011 right away if your flight is delayed, canceled or changed.
You’re at the wrong curb. Hotel and off-site parking shuttles use Islands 1A–D, 2A and 3A–C in the courtesy lane, covered on our courtesy shuttles page. Our scheduled airporters page lists the rest.
The phone numbers don’t match. The Port of Seattle lists the same two numbers, (360) 679-4003 and (877) 679-4003, for both Whidbey - SeaTac Shuttle and Wenatchee Valley Shuttle. Use the number on your booking to reach the right operator.
You have a group. Charter buses board separately, in the North East Charter Bus Lot. Once everyone has their bags, call the Ground Transportation booth to dispatch the bus. See our charter bus page.
