- The Port lists four ways from the airport to the cruise terminals: a rideshare or taxi from the 3rd floor of the airport parking garage; a transfer bought from your cruise line for bus transportation to the terminal; Link light rail to Westlake Station, then a rideshare or taxi to your terminal; and the airport shuttle services.
- The airport to the Pier 91 (Smith Cove) cruise terminal is one 30-40 minute ride. Pier 91 is the home port for Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages, and some cruise lines and travel planners offer a motor coach transfer direct to it; ask your cruise line or travel agent. Public transit does not reach Pier 91, which has a dedicated app-based rideshare lot for drop-off and pick-up.
- Driving to Pier 91 from Interstate 5, northbound or southbound, take the Mercer Street exit (Exit 167) and continue westbound on Mercer Street onto Elliott Ave, following the signs to the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91.
- Pier 66 (Bell Street Cruise Terminal) can be reached by elevator from street level below the pedestrian skybridge on either side of Alaskan Way, and on Lenora Street south of the Marriott Hotel on the east side of Alaskan Way.
- Seattle Express runs shared shuttle transfers between SeaTac Airport, SeaTac area hotels and the Pier 66 and Pier 91 cruise terminals, April through October, about 45 minutes, $30 a passenger with children 3 and under on an adult's lap free; pickup is on the baggage claim level inside Door 4, and you check in with the Seattle Express airport agent before boarding. Phone 1-206-793-8430.
- For a cruise-line transfer, head to the Baggage Claim level at SEA, look for signs to the cruise bus pick-up area, and cruise representatives on site will direct you to your ride. Bus Stop #20860 (Magnolia Bridge & Pier 91) is permanently closed, and the Port recommends a rideshare, taxi or other transport to Pier 91.
- Depending on traffic, the drive from the airport to the cruise terminals could take 30-45 minutes. Drop-off at the terminals is busiest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., so avoid those hours unless it is your scheduled arrival time. Pier 66 (Bell Street Cruise Terminal) serves Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises, and a Security Officer on Alaskan Way directs traffic and helps with passenger drop-off in the curb lane in front of the terminal. At Pier 91, rideshares drop you about a 10-minute walk from the terminal (a free shuttle to the terminal is available) and taxis take you right to the terminal entrance.
