Details
  • The Port says all wheelchair service is provided at no charge, but gratuities are greatly appreciated. It publishes no tip amount, so how much to give is your choice. Prospect Airport Services, (206) 246-1550, provides wheelchairs from the Link station, baggage claim, the garage or the rental car shuttle drop-off to the airline ticket counter. Service from the ticket counter to the gate, between gates and to baggage claim is arranged with the airline. Arriving on the rental car shuttle, tell the driver: the driver contacts Prospect so an assistant meets you at the drop-off area. Not available to SEA Visitor Pass holders, who may bring their own wheelchair or mobility aid. For the checkpoint, TSA Cares takes calls at least 72 hours before travel at (855) 787-2227 (weekdays 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern, weekends and holidays 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern), and CLEAR Concierge is a paid service from $99 with a curbside greeting, bag help and an escort through the CLEAR+ lane to the gate. The SEA ADA Coordinator answers accessibility questions at (206) 787-3132. TSA does not provide airport wheelchair service
  • The airline does. International arrivals passport control has a Wheelchair Assistance/Accessible lane for all disabilities. Tell the TSA officer before screening begins if you have a medical device attached to your body, such as an insulin pump, ostomy, port or feeding tube, and where it is. Many airlines can issue companion passes that let a non-traveler accompany a passenger who needs assistance to the gate
  • Check with your airline. Many of the scheduled public transit buses on airport routes are lift-equipped, and when you contact your airline you can also ask about specific seat assignments, medication storage or dietary needs. Alaska Airlines accessible services line: 1-800-503-0101 (711 for relay services)
