Hotels near SEA are reached by shuttle or a short walk

The Port’s courtesy shuttle list includes DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Airport and Seattle Airport Marriott. Each offers a free airport shuttle. The Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center, on International Boulevard beside the SeaTac/Airport light rail station, says it is about a five-minute walk from the terminals and has a free shuttle too. From the station it is 379 steps to the main terminal.

For a hotel shuttle, go to garage Level 3, at courtesy Islands 1A–D, 2A and 3A–C. Once you have your bags, call your hotel for its island and next pickup. Check that your booking includes the ride.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport uses the same courtesy shuttle lane but charges per party. Its details are below the hotel tables.

Which hotels run a shuttle, and how you get the ride

These hotels describe their airport shuttle as complimentary. Red Roof Inn lists a split schedule, while Fairfield, Hampton Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn Express list 24-hour service.

The Port lists these hotels on its courtesy shuttle page, but gives no fares. Call before booking if a free ride matters to you, and ask about hours and pickup intervals.

For a hotel without listed hours, call before you book. The Port’s courtesy shuttle page sends ADA questions to the hotel. Operators may not deny a pick-up to a customer who uses a wheelchair. If you need a wheelchair from the station, baggage claim or the garage to your ticket counter, Prospect Airport Services sends someone when you call (206) 246-1550.

Coast Gateway, Days Inn, Hampton Inn Seattle-Airport, Country Inn & Suites and Four Points list around-the-clock shuttles. Ask each hotel whether it charges before booking.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport also uses the courtesy shuttle lane. It’s at 15920 West Valley Highway in Tukwila, near Southcenter, 4.3 miles by road from the terminal. Its airport shuttle runs 24 hours and charges per party. Ask the hotel for its rate at 425-227-8844.

From baggage claim to the courtesy islands

1. Cross a skybridge from the terminal’s Level 4 into the garage, then go down to garage Level 3.
2. Find the courtesy island shuttle lane. Wait at the island your hotel names, and check the hotel’s name on the vehicle before boarding.

The terminal’s baggage claim is also called Level 3, but the pickup is on garage Level 3. The shared shuttle guide covers other operators if the van you booked isn’t a hotel shuttle. Scheduled airporters can board at the Arrivals Drive, so check your operator before following another passenger.

How often do the hotel vans come?

For hotels without a listed pickup interval, ask the desk how long the next van will take.

A traveler on RoomsWithAReview reported needing a reservation for an early Aloft airport transfer. Ask Aloft about that early ride when you book.

If the promised van doesn’t appear, call the hotel from the island and say exactly where you’re standing. Ask whether it has passed, whether you need to move, and how long you should wait. The Ground Transportation Booth helps with courtesy vehicles and rides. Call it at 206-787-5906. If the hotel can’t give you a workable pickup, taxis board at the north and south curbs on garage Level 3. Taxi mobility pickup is on the baggage claim level by Skybridge 2 near Door 10 or Skybridge 5 near Door 22.

If you booked a hotel beside the light rail line, such as the Hilton, you can walk or ride the free Train-to-Plane cart. It runs daily from 5 a.m. to midnight between the SeaTac/Airport station and the terminal, boarding on garage Level 4 near the entrance to Skybridges 5 and 6.
