Delta at SEA: concourses, check-in and lounges
Delta uses SEA's A and B Concourses. Find check-in, the nearest checkpoints and the three Delta lounges with their daily hours.

Go to Level 5 of the Main Terminal to check in with Delta at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The Port of Seattle lists Delta on the A and B Concourses. Delta has 18 preferential gates at SEA, plus common-use and remote gates, so your gate may differ. Delta’s A11 lounge complex sits near five of those preferential gates. SEA has one terminal, so you don’t need to hunt for a separate Delta building.
If someone is dropping you off, ask for the upper departures drive near Door 17. The Port of Seattle’s map places Delta curbside check-in there. Allow the time the Port of Seattle recommends: two hours before a domestic flight or three before an international flight.
From Delta check-in to your gate
SEA has six main checkpoints, and every checkpoint reaches every gate. Checkpoints 1, 2 and 3 are closest to A and S. They open at 4 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., 4 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., respectively. Checkpoint 1 is on the baggage claim level. All three list TSA PreCheck. Checkpoint 1 also lists CLEAR general screening. Checkpoint 3 offers TSA PreCheck Touchless ID for participating airlines from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For B, Checkpoint 4 is closest and stays open 24 hours. It has a premium lane for participating airlines. Our SEA wait-times guide covers when checkpoint lines peak.
Both concourses connect to the Main Terminal on foot. You don’t need the underground train for either one. Use the terminal map to find A or B before you walk.
Which Delta lounge is on your way?
All three Delta lounges sit after security on the A Concourse. There is no Delta lounge listed on B. If your gate is in B, leave enough time to walk back after your visit.
| Lounge | Where to go | Daily hours | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delta Sky Club near A1 | Near Gate A1 | 4:15 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. | Choose this Sky Club for the later closing time. |
| Delta Sky Club near A11 | Across from Gate A11, on the lower floor of Delta’s lounge complex | 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. | Pick A1 instead before 5 a.m. |
| Delta One Lounge | Across from Gate A11, upstairs in the same complex | 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. | Check your Delta One Lounge eligibility before heading up. |
One traveler, Sho Datglobetrotter, reported looking for a way upstairs before realizing the upper floor was the Delta One Lounge. At A11, stay on the lower floor for the Sky Club. The A1 Sky Club and the A11 complex both have showers.
For a B gate, The Club at SEA on A is on the A Concourse near the A gates, open daily from 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., with a $50 pass good for entry up to three hours before departure. The A Concourse also has a United Club, open daily from 4:15 a.m. to 10 p.m. The lounge directory lists the rest.
If you’re arriving or connecting
Delta Air Lines answers at 800-221-1212. For a missing bag, call 800-325-8224.
For a domestic arrival, Delta’s listed baggage carousels are 2 through 6. If your bag doesn’t appear, Delta’s baggage service office is at Claim 6 on the Main Terminal baggage claim level.
For a Delta connection arriving from abroad without U.S. preclearance, follow the connection route through baggage claim, passport control and airline recheck. Arrivals from airports with U.S. preclearance skip the International Arrivals Facility. The International Arrivals Facility TSA checkpoint is open from 6 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. and has no TSA PreCheck. When it’s closed, exit to the public side and screen at a main checkpoint.
