Charging at the gate, SEA

SEA marks Charging Station points after security in A, B, C, D, S and the Central Terminal. In N, it lists FuelRod kiosks by Gates N9 and N11. Before security, the map shows two FuelRod kiosks in baggage claim, including one by Baggage Claim 9.

SEA’s A, B, C and D Concourses connect on foot after security. From N, take the Green Line train to C or D for a Charging Station point. From S, you can use one in that concourse or take the Blue Line to A or B. See our Main Terminal guide for the concourse layout.

Find a charging point near your gate

Look for “Charging Station,” “Charging Stations” or “FuelRod” on SEA’s map. SEA describes FuelRod as a reusable charging system: use it on the go, then recharge or swap it at any FuelRod kiosk.

Your area Charging Station points on SEA’s map FuelRod kiosks
A Concourse Gates A1, A2 (two points), A3, A4, A5, A8 and A9 Gates A5 and A10
B Concourse Gates B5, B7, B9, B10, B11 and B15. Also Gate B20 on the baggage claim level Gate B3
C Concourse Two points by Gate C20 Gate C16
D Concourse Gates D3, D4, D5, D7 and D8. Also Gates D21, D22, D23, D24 and D26 on the baggage claim level Gate D5
Central Terminal One point, with no closer landmark given Two kiosks, with no closer landmarks given
N Concourse None listed on the airport map Gates N9 and N11
S Concourse Gates S1, S3, S4, S6, S10 and S12 Gate S10

All points in that table are marked after security. The B20 and D21–D26 points are on SEA’s baggage claim level, but the map still places them in the secure gate area. Don’t leave security for the public baggage claim to find them.

Before security or after arrival

SEA gives no precise landmark for the second FuelRod kiosk in public baggage claim. If you’re in ticketing or waiting to clear security, its map doesn’t identify a Charging Station point before the checkpoint.

Any of SEA’s six regular checkpoints leads to every gate. Checkpoint 4, closest to the Central Terminal and B and C Concourses, is open 24 hours. Our security checkpoints page has the other checkpoint hours. If you’re leaving the airport, ask about the other baggage claim kiosk at the information desk in the Gina Marie Lindsey Arrivals Hall near Checkpoint 1.

If your cable or charger is missing

For a missing cable, try these Hudson stores after security. SEA tags each one, including Gate D6, with “phone accessories,” and our shops directory lists these daily hours:

Area Hudson location Listed hours
A Concourse Hudson at Gate A4 3:45 a.m.–midnight
A Concourse Hudson at Gate A9 4:15 a.m.–11:45 p.m.
B Concourse Hudson at Gate B6 4 a.m.–11:15 p.m.

The directory lists no Hudson phone-accessory store in N.
