Wi-Fi, charging, water and cash at SEA airport

SEA-FREE-WIFI is free. Where to charge a phone, refill a bottle and find an ATM by gate, plus the ICE currency booth hours.

Connect to the free SEA-FREE-WIFI when you land. Chargers, refill stations and ATMs are listed below by gate.

Where to work on the free Wi-Fi

For a few hours of laptop work, sit in the D Concourse, which has the most charging points (table below). If you’re waiting for someone in the cell phone lot, it has its own free Wi-Fi.

Pick SEA-FREE-WIFI in your phone’s settings and accept the terms on the page that opens. The Port of Seattle runs the network and says a short ad sometimes plays first. The Port recommends a VPN because the network doesn’t secure what you send. Do your banking on mobile data.

The D gates have the most charging points

Almost every charging point is after security. The N and C gates have the fewest, so top up before you head out to either:

Two more FuelRod kiosks sit at baggage claim, one by Baggage Claim 9. A FuelRod is a reusable portable charger: you charge your phone on the go, then recharge or swap the FuelRod at any kiosk.

Is the water safe to drink?

Yes. The Port says SEA’s water comes from Seattle Public Utilities, and that its required testing detected no contaminants, including PFAS and lithium. Empty your bottle at the liquid drain at your checkpoint. Then fill it at a water refill station:
