Early flight, tight connection or pickup

For an early pickup, plan around the 6 a.m. opening on our baggage claim Starbucks listing. The Port of Seattle’s early-bird guide says 4 a.m. Finish any coffee you brought before TSA screening, as the Port of Seattle advises.

If you’re flying after a stop at the baggage claim Starbucks, Checkpoint 1 is on that level, closest to A and S, and open 4 a.m.–8 p.m. For an overnight departure, Checkpoint 4 is closest to the Central Terminal’s 24-hour Dilettante and Starbucks counters and stays open 24 hours.

You can walk between A, B, C and D after security. To reach N, take the Green Line from C Station by C11 or D Station across from D2. For S, take the Blue Line from A Station across from A3 or B Station below B20 and B21 at the end of the concourse. A train arrives every three minutes on the Blue and Green Lines. The Yellow Line connects A and D stations if you need to change loops. For N or S during a train outage, take the bus instead.
