The options side by side
| Option | Boards at SEA | Where it ends | Time | Cost | Whose figure |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kitsap Airporter | Arrivals Drive curb, near Door 02 | Bangor, Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, Port Orchard, Purdy, Gig Harbor, NW Tacoma | About 1 hr 30 min | On kitsapairporter.com | Port of Seattle for the stops, Uber’s Bremerton page for the time |
| Link light rail, walk, ferry | SeaTac/Airport station | Bremerton | 1 hr 47 min | $11.65 | Moovit’s planner |
| Uber | Uber app | Anywhere you name | 1.1 hours average | $157 average | Uber’s SEA to Bremerton page |
Uber’s 1 hr 30 min comes from its page for the opposite direction, Bremerton to SEA, so treat it as Uber’s figure for the return run.
Which one fits your trip
- Poulsbo, Silverdale, Port Orchard, Purdy, Gig Harbor or NW Tacoma. Use the Airporter. The Port lists each as a stop, and the Link-and-ferry route ends in Bremerton.
- Bremerton itself. Link and the ferry costs $11.65 by Moovit’s count. Get the Airporter’s fare from its website before you decide which costs less.
- Landing late. The last train from SeaTac/Airport toward downtown leaves around midnight, and at 11:18 p.m. on Sunday nights. After the last train, Sound Transit’s Night Bus, route 597, runs about every 30 minutes toward downtown Seattle, which still leaves a ferry between you and Bremerton.
- Heavy bags or a tired group. The Airporter is one vehicle from the curb. The ferry route is a train, a walk and a boat, each with the bags.
Where to find the Kitsap Airporter at SEA
The Port of Seattle says the Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter picks up along the Arrivals Drive curb near Door 02, at the south end of the Baggage Claim level. That’s the curb the other scheduled airporters use, and our scheduled airporters page lists them all.
Exit baggage claim at the south end and look for Door 02. Our baggage claim guide shows which carousel your flight uses.
The Port sends you to kitsapairporter.com for the fare and timetable, and the Airporter’s phone is (360) 876-1737.
Link plus the ferry, step by step
- Walk to the station. Sound Transit says to look for baggage carousel 16, go up one floor to the skybridge level, cross Skybridge Six and turn left through the parking garage. Our Link light rail guide has the walk and how to pay.
- Ride to Pioneer Square. The 1 Line timetable puts Pioneer Square 36 minutes from SeaTac/Airport. The adult fare is $3.00, and first trains leave at 4:51 a.m. weekdays, 4:48 a.m. Saturday and 5:58 a.m. Sunday.
- Walk to the ferry dock. Moovit counts 610 yards, about 8 minutes, from Pioneer Square station to the Seattle ferry station. Rome2Rio names Pier 50 as the Seattle dock.
- Take the ferry. Rome2Rio lists Kitsap Transit as the operator on the Pier 50 to Bremerton Fast Ferry Dock route, and Moovit gives the crossing as 60 minutes.
Those legs add up to 104 minutes of moving. Any wait for the next sailing comes on top.
The Moovit and Rome2Rio routes give no ferry timetable or last sailing, so check sailings with Kitsap Transit. If your hotel is downtown, our downtown options guide lists what each Link stop and ride costs.
Taking an Uber
Uber’s SEA to Bremerton page averages $157 and 1.1 hours over 54 miles, for rides in the past month. It lists UberX at $155, Comfort Electric at $172 and Black at $242, and says none of these is a fixed or guaranteed price.
Our rideshare page shows where pickup is at SEA.
When something goes wrong

- The ferry isn’t running when you land. Take the Airporter or a car.
