Can you park an RV or tall vehicle at Seattle airport?
SEA's over-height lot takes vehicles over 6 ft 10 in, but RV fit is not guaranteed. Find the $37 daily rate, entrance, payment, and fallback.

SEA’s airport garage turns away anything over 6 ft 10 in. The Port directs taller vehicles to the Over-height Vehicle Parking lot, an outdoor lot. Its ADA stalls are for vehicles displaying valid disabled permit identification. The Port lists only a height rule, so measure your RV, trailer and roof gear before you go. It costs the General Parking rate of $37.00 a day, and you can’t reserve a stall. The Port says it “regularly reaches capacity,” so know your fallback before you drive in.
The over-height lot at a glance
Measure from the ground to the highest point on the vehicle, roof gear included, and treat anything above 6 ft 10 in as over-height.
| Over-height Vehicle Parking | |
|---|---|
| Access | Drive up, first come, first served. The Port’s reservation system can’t hold an over-height stall |
| Hourly and weekly rates | $8.00 an hour and $222.00 a week |
| Payment | Pay by card at the machines on garage Floor 4, or by cash or card with a cashier at a garage exit lane |
| Route to the terminal | Walking distance. The Port lists a wheelchair-accessible path through garage Floor 1 to the Main Terminal by elevator, and for permit-holding vehicles it suggests dropping passengers near the elevator before you park |
| Charging | None listed in the lot. The Port’s charging stalls are on garage Floors 7 and 4, both under the 6 ft 10 in limit |
If you need wheelchair help after you park, call Prospect Airport Services at (206) 246-1550. It sends a free wheelchair from the garage to your ticket counter. A vehicle under 6 ft 10 in can use the accessible stalls in the garage on Floors 1, 3, 5 and 7, and in Reserved Parking on Floor 4.
Getting in from the highway
- Reach the airport on Highway 99 / International Boulevard, from the north or the south. From the Airport Expressway, follow the signs marked “Over-height Parking.”
- Turn in from South 182nd St. and move into the left lane, following the daily parking signs.
- Stay left and curve left. The over-height signs then appear ahead and to the right.
- At the entry plaza, use the open lane on the far right and take a ticket.
- When the gate opens, drive in and park in any open stall.
- Keep the ticket. For card payment, use a Floor 4 pay machine, then take the paid ticket back to your vehicle and use it to exit. To pay cash, use a cashier at a garage exit lane.
Checking before you drive in
Call the Drive-Up Parking line at (206) 787-5308 with your vehicle’s length, width and height.
