Duty free and shopping at Seattle airport
SEA has three duty free stores, all after security, at Gates D1, A10 and S10. See their hours, which store is on your way and every shop by concourse.

Beyond security, Dufry has three SEA stores: A10, D1 and S10. There is no duty free store listed in the Central Terminal. For a Seattle gift or a forgotten charger, check the shops near your gate before taking a train. A detour to the S Concourse means a train ride each way.

Our duty free listings, drawn from SEA’s shop directory, list liquor, cigarettes, fragrances, cosmetics and handbags at each branch. They don’t give item prices or confirm that a particular bottle or brand is in stock. Ask at the store for its price and availability.
The A, B, C and D Concourses connect on foot after security. From N, board the Green Line at N Station below the concourse for D Station, across from Gate D2, then walk to the D1 store. For an S gate, use the S10 store. The Blue Line links S Station below the concourse with B Station below Gates B20 and B21 and A Station across from Gate A3. Trains on both lines arrive every three minutes. To cross between the north and south train loops, use the Yellow Line between D and A Stations. Our terminal guide shows the concourses and train stops.
The Port of Seattle describes duty free as a way international travelers may avoid taxes in the country of purchase. The Port of Seattle’s project page says planned new shops will welcome all travelers, but doesn’t spell out purchase or tax rules for the listed Dufry branches. If you’re flying domestically, ask the cashier what you can buy and what price applies before paying. For alcohol or tobacco at Dufry, check your destination’s customs rules before paying.

Their listings won’t tell you which way to walk, so don’t make a tight connection depend on finding one of them.
