- Details
- The Port has collected public art since the late 1960s and was the first public agency in the region to establish a public art collection. The collection features contemporary work in glass, sculpture, photography, painting and new media, including works by Frank Stella, Louise Nevelson and Robert Rauschenberg and many regional and emerging artists. The Port says the region's diversity is well represented through European, all-American, Asian, Northwest Native American and folk-art influences. Some works are by 20th century artists of great renown, and many more are by regional and emerging artists. The Port's things-to-do list also names an art walk, and its family page suggests touring the collection to work off some energy. Over 100 works of art are on display throughout the airport. The Port's art page links featured works and their locations in the terminal.
